Gluten-free Almond Meltaway Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup butter, softened (or dairy-free butter alternative)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg or egg-replacer substitute
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon pure almond extract
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free baking flour

Almond Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons milk (or dairy-free milk of choice)
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
